Liam Neeson born as William John 'Liam' Neeson, OBE on June 7th, 1952 in Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland is a marvelous Irish actor who earned Oscar nomination for his stunning performance in "Schindler's List".
Liam Neeson was born to Katherine 'Kitty' nee Brown, and Barnard Neeson a caretaker at the local Catholic girls' school. Liam Neeson has three sisters Elizabeth, Bernadette and Rosaline. He learnt boxing at the age of nine and had been a Youth Heavyweight Champion of Ireland for three continuous years during his teens. Liam Neeson has graduated from Gaiety School of Drama in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to his acting career, Liam Neeson has done several odd jobs from fork-lift operating to truck driving to working at a teacher-training college in Newcastle for two years.
Liam Neeson made his debut in acting with a small role in a television "Play for Today" in 1978 and made his movie debut with "Pilgrim's Progress" {1979} and has since appeared in several movies and television shows until 1987 when he decided to move to Hollywood in search of greener pastures. Liam Neeson soon became one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood. From 1990s to mid-2000s Liam Neeson has rendered magnificent performances in several blockbuster hit movies such as "Darkman" {1990}, "Under Suspicion" {1991}, "Schindler's List" {1993}, "Michael Collins" {1996}, "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" {1999}, "Kinsey" {2004}, "Batman Begins" {2005} and so on. Liam Neeson was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 1999 for his contribution to drama and acting.
Liam Neeson has married actress Natasha Richardson on July 3rd, 1994. The couple together has 2 sons named Michael Richard Antonio born June 1995 and Daniel Jack born August 1996.
