Although Liam Neeson is almost sixty years old, he is by no means letting his age slow him down. On the contrary, Neeson’s career continues to be on the rise. Not only was 2010 a busy year for him, but 2011 and 2012 look to be just as active. If you’re a fan of Liam, there are and will be plenty of great new movies for you to enjoy.

While he didn’t appear in the movie, Liam lent his voice to The Wildest Dream. This is an amazing movie about a Mount Everest climber. Neeson’s first onscreen appearance of 2010 came in Clash of the Titans. If you’re looking for an awesome action movie, you won’t be disappointed by Liam’s portrayal of Zeus. His next 2010 movie was also an exciting action flick. He played Hannibal in The A-Team movie. After guest roles in two TV shows, his next movie was The Next Three Days. If you’re also a fan of Russell Crowe and Elizatbeth Banks, you will have a great time watching this movie. Neeson ended 2010 with another voice role as Aslan in the latest The Chronicles of Narnia movie.

Neeson’s big role in 2011 was as Dr. Martin Harris in the mysterious thriller Unknown. If you like movies that keep you on your toes, you will thoroughly like this movie. As an added bonus, Neeson’s co-star is the always lovely January Jones.

Liam currently has three big projects slated for 2012. These include The Grey, Battleship and Wrath of the Titans. In the last of these projects, he will be resuming his role as the powerful Zeus. One perk of performing in so many major blockbuster movies is the chance to be immortalized as a toy. Liam’s characters of Zeus, Hannibal and Aflan all have action figures crafted in their image. None have been as popular as Neeson’s role as the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn in the Phantom Menace.

Also upcoming is the sequel to Taken. The original film showed us the skills, assets and determination of the lead character, Bryan Mills. Filmed in Los Angeles, Taken 2 is sure to have as much action as the original. Neeson stars once again as CIA operative Bryan Mills and must rescue his ex-wife this time around. An expert in asset management software, Mills must rely on his skills again to save his family. The film is scheduled to be released in October 2012.
